“Pitali ste kozmetologa – vodič za negu kože” is a comprehensive educational book that provides insight into the foundations on which cosmetology is based. It is written in a question-and-answer format, and when viewed integrally, it serves as a manual for skincare. The book covers answers to over 200 questions divided into fifteen chapters:

The first part of the book covers the basics of cosmetology and the most common problems that arise when it comes to skincare. A significant part of the book is dedicated to cosmetically active substances and the possibilities of their more efficient absorption into the skin, a topic the author has been working on for decades. A special section is dedicated to skin regeneration techniques, where, in addition to modern devices, the theoretical foundations of the most commonly used techniques are also presented.

Prof. Dr Slavica Šiler Marinković, an expert advisor for LIPO Cosmetics, is a retired professor who taught Biochemistry, Food Chemistry, and Bioactive Substances in Cosmetic Products at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Belgrade, as well as Cosmetology at the Higher Medical School of Professional Studies in Zemun. Prof. Dr Šiler Marinković has published over a hundred scientific papers, which have been cited more than a thousand times, and five academic books. She is also the author of numerous professional lectures on cosmetology, which have been followed with great attention and interest by the expert community.
